Evolution Fitting Today!

I went to the Art Institute today for the fittings for the Evolution runway show. A couple of the designs they had for me didn't fit (I was too tall! Go figure!). I hung around for a while to so they could see if anything came up through the course of other fittings that would work for me. I left for a while and they called me back to try on a few more things. Now I've ended up with five designs to wear. They were really trying to get me into more outfits because they really liked my walk. That's great to hear. Also, not a single outfit looked like something that my mom would wear. YES! Finally, I get to model cute stuff.

Booked a Show!

I went to a go-see at the Art Institute before heading down to Keizer on Saturday. They always have a big fashion show at the end of the year for the graduating senior collections. This year is the 10th anniversary for Ai so it is going to be an even bigger production. The Evolution Show will be held at the Portland Art Museum on June 15th and will showcase over 27 collections. It's gonna be big! I got the call yesterday that I booked the show. This should be a really fun show.

Food For Fashion Show today

Today was the Food For Fashion Show at the Keizer Iris Festival. It was awesome. I modeled for three different designers. After the show one of the other designers that I didn't model for asked for my contact info and rates. Also, the owner of Five Star Productions came backstage to give me her contact info and wants me to get a hold of her. She produces multiple bridal and fashion shows in Salem and Eugene throughout the year and wants me to model for her. All in all a productive day.

Heading South for the Day

Today is the show at the Valley River Center in Eugene. I'll be heading down in a couple of hours. I have no ideas what I'm wearing or how the show is set up. It should be fun, though.

My car is another story. Major oil leaks, no dash lights, no radio...wish me luck!

Audition and "New" Agency - repost

Accidentally posted on my production site.

Well, I have an audition for a real estate commercial this Wednesday. It pays pretty well and there are two roles that I fit so hopefully I'll nail it. I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow and I'm gonna be in pain during the audition. But...I'm an actress, so I will ACT like I'm not in pain.

The other news is my agency. Wilhelmina/MTG has become a full-service agency. So now I have across the board representation. Which I am very happy about.
